Self-catering Apartments in Budapest
Ideal for rest and recovery after cosmetic surgery and dentistry! Budapest is a lively and cosmopolitan city and offers a wide range of hotels and apartments
to suit all budgets and tastes. We have a detailed knowledge of Budapest and are happy to make
recommendations and help you choose the best accommodation for your individual needs.

For those undergoing cosmetic surgery in Budapest we recommend self-contained studio apartments
giving you much needed privacy and the freedom to come and go as you like, and most importantly to be able to make that much needed cuppa whenever you want! Apartments range from small studios to 3 bedroomed properties, but most of our patients are more than happy in something small and cosy - and of course this makes for a very good value for money and cost effective option! These apartments can be found in the centre
of Pest, close to the clinics and hospitals, and within easy walking distance of food shops, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, interesting sights, and the river Danube.
Prices for one person range from 35 EUR per night to 60 EUR depending
on the apartment and time of the year (with the exclusion of Easter, Grand Prix, Christmas and New Year when prices throughout the city rise dramatically).
All the apartments we use for patients come fully equipped - if above the first floor have lifts- and most have Internet access. The main criteria when recommending an apartment is location, security, and a light and relaxing ambience that provides the right environment in which to relax and recover from surgery.
Budapest is one of Europe's truly great capital cities, and first time visitors are usually overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of this wonderful metropolis! The city is divided into two by the Danube, and the many vantage points from across the river on the hilly Buda side provide spectacular and breathtaking views of the flat, busy, cosmopolitan Pest.
This is a city that surprises and enchants! Reminders of Budapest's rich and often tragic history
are apparent everywhere. The scars of the nation's crushed 1956 uprising (still very much a part of the local psyche) are visible from the many bullet hole ridden buildings all over the sprawling city. Now Hungary is part of the EU and the younger generation have the opportunity to take advantage of the stability of a united Europe. Since the move to parliamentary democracy in 1990, rapid changes have been seen in Budapest. Investment from the west and the new consumer society with a much wider
selection of goods and services has resulted in Budapest becoming much like any other major European city. A renewed vibrancy and pride in the city is resulting in many of the former grand apartment buildings that made Budapest and Vienna two of Europe's most beautiful and gracious cities at the turn of the 19/20th century being returned to their former glory.
Nevertheless, the city still retains its unique character and has much to offer to the visitor - be it for Linda Briggs in Hungary cosmetic surgery
or for dental treatment. Many former patients have chosen to return for a long weekend to discover even more of Budapest's delights! Coming here for surgery and dentistry also allows for a restful break in a very special and welcoming environment

Some suggestions for your aftercare in Budapest: Apartment
1. Very spacious and well furnished apartment on the famous Vaci utca (sleeps 2/4 - 1 bedroom)
|
|
This beautiful apartment is situated on the 3rd floor of a classical building and has a lift. It faces
the street and has large windows allowing plenty of light to enter the rooms. The flat is 87m sq which means it is one of the most spacious apartments we recommend. Located on the corner of the famous Vaci utca which is pedestrianised it is just up from Vorosmarty ter with its famous Gerbaud coffee house. There are restaurants and good
shopping all around. There is a supermarket across the road and other food shops close by. Only a 2 minute walk to the River Danube where you can amble along the promenade and people watch - or take a must-have river cruise. Many of the famous sights of Budapest can be reached on foot or by public transport - the Basilica (Budapest's Cathedral), the Gellert Thermal Bath, the World Heritage Andrassy utca (the Champs Elysee of Budapest), Heroes Square, the Opera House ...to name but
a few. Ferenciek ter on the Blue line metro is around the corner and there is the No 2 tram behind the building that runs along the river past the wonderful Parliament building..

The apartment is heated on a 24 hour basis from a central boiler providing a constant and pleasant atmosphere irrespective of the temperature outside!
